Third Annual Music for the Animals Fundraiser for Santa Cruz Animal Shelter
and The BirchBark Foundation

The 3rd Annual Music for the Animals fundraiser, supporting the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter and the BirchBark Foundation, feature: Live music by Michael Gaither & His New Best Friends, locally sourced cider/beer, artisans, and giveaways. The event features adoptable dogs and is dog-friendly (with a kiddie pool for pups). Admission: Free.

Monica will be donating 15-min. sessions (valued at $47.50) during the event. First come, first served.
Also, enter our free raffle drawing for a full 60-minute session (valued at $190), donated to this worthy fundraiser.

Called by Wild Horses: Listening to Nevada's Mustangs

Date: June 9-15, 2026 (dates to be confirmed)

Location: to be determined

In June, Monica will travel to Nevada for a private, invitation‑only journey to connect with the wild horses who roam the Pine Nut Mountains. This is not a public event, but an intentional visit—much like her time with the elephants in Thailand—created in partnership with those who protect and advocate for these herds.

This journey is an opportunity to witness the wild ones in their own world, to understand the stories they carry, and to honor the wisdom they offer when humans slow down enough to hear them.

Parks & Rex (Santa Cruz Animal Shelter)

Date: Sunday August 16, 2026

Location: Simpkins Swim Center, Santa Cruz, CA

Bring your dog and enjoy a pool party! Monica will be joining the Parks & Rex event, giving free 10‑minute intuitive animal communication sessions. Whether your dog is curious, sensitive, playful, or navigating challenges, Monica’s booth will be a welcoming place to pause, listen, and strengthen the bond you share.

As part of the event’s raffle and auction, Monica has also donated a full private session, giving one lucky winner the opportunity to experience a deeper, personalized communication experience.

Bark in the Park 2026

Date: Saturday September 19, 2026

Time: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Location: William Street Park, San Jose, CA

Monica is returning to Bark in the Park San Jose this September for her second year. Throughout the event, she will be providing free 5‑minute intuitive communication sessions, giving guardians a chance to hear what their dogs are feeling, needing, or trying to express.
